Living for Jesus in Every Season

Pursuing God's Will in My Home, Career, and Calling

Following Jesus in Every Season

Life is full of decisions, responsibilities, and uncertainties, but one thing remains constant—Jesus Christ is Lord. In everything I do, whether it’s leading a women’s Bible study on Wednesdays, writing for this blog, or seeking a career path, my ultimate goal is to glorify Jesus.

My First Ministry: Following Christ in My Home

As a married woman, I believe my first ministry is my home. The Bible teaches that everything we do—even the smallest tasks—should be done unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23 – "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men."). If, in the future, Jesus calls me into a greater ministry role, I will say yes! And if He simply calls me to serve faithfully in my home, I will say yes! because He alone sets the course of my life.

Jesus said in Luke 16:10, "One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much." My prayer is that I remain faithful in the season I’m in, trusting that God’s plans are far greater than my own (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Surrendering My Plans to Jesus

I have a deep passion for sharing the gospel and strengthening my brothers and sisters in Christ. That is why I started this blog—to proclaim Jesus and encourage others to seek Him wholeheartedly.

When I first started this blog, my hope was to turn it into a career. But after much prayer and a conversation with my husband, I realized that Jesus was calling me to trust Him in a new way. Now, I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree, seeking His guidance about my future, and learning that my identity is not in my work, but in Christ alone.

I have been considering a path in human resources and industrial and organizational psychology, but I know that whatever direction I take, my highest calling will always be to follow Jesus and make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). I will continue to pray and seek the Lord’s will, knowing that He alone directs my steps (Proverbs 3:5-6 – "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.").

What’s Next for This Blog?

Even as I step into this new season, I will continue writing here. I have content planned until July 2025, but my purpose has shifted—this blog is no longer about building a career, but about testifying to Jesus’ work in my life. It will be a space to share my struggles, my growth, and most importantly, the faithfulness of Christ.

A Call to Fix Your Eyes on Jesus

This journey has reminded me that Jesus is my greatest treasure. Whether I am serving at home, writing, or pursuing a degree, my life belongs to Him alone (Galatians 2:20 – "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.").

I want to encourage you to ask yourself:

  • Are you surrendering your plans to Jesus, or are you holding onto control?

  • Are you seeking His kingdom first, knowing He will provide all you need? (Matthew 6:33)

I invite you to share your journey in the comments—how is Jesus leading you in this season? I would love to pray for you and walk alongside you as we seek Him together.

No matter where we go, may our hearts always be fixed on Jesus.
