A Story of Redemption & Victory

The Journey Begins

I never imagined I would be here—just 63 days away from releasing Battles Beneath the Blossoms. This book isn’t just a project; it’s my testimony. A story of brokenness, redemption, and the unwavering faithfulness of God.

When I first felt the call to write this book, I had no idea how much resistance I would face. The enemy doesn’t like it when we bring darkness into the light, and there were moments when I questioned whether I had the strength to keep going. From reliving painful memories to battling self-doubt, this process stretched me in ways I never expected. But God is faithful. He carried me through every challenge, reminded me of my purpose, and surrounded me with encouragement at just the right time.

One of the greatest struggles I faced while writing this book was the insecurity of feeling like I was "selling" my story. I never set out to write for accolades or recognition, and the thought of putting my testimony into the world for others to buy felt uncomfortable at times. But I had to remind myself that obedience to God’s calling isn’t about my comfort—it’s about surrender. This book isn’t about me; it’s about Him and what He has done.

At the end of the day, success for me isn’t measured by sales or praise. If just one life is touched—if one person finds healing, hope, or a reminder of God’s faithfulness—then every struggle in this process will have been worth it. I don’t need the spotlight; I just need to be faithful. This story was never mine to keep, and so I am releasing it into God’s hands, trusting that He will place it exactly where it needs to be.

Battles Beneath the Blossoms is about the unseen battles we fight—the ones beneath the surface, where only God truly sees. It’s about healing, surrender, and walking in the freedom that Christ offers. My prayer is that through my testimony, you will be encouraged to see that no matter how dark things have been, God is still writing your story.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing exclusive insights, behind-the-scenes looks at the book, and personal reflections on this journey. If you’ve ever felt like your story was too messy, too broken, or too complicated for God to use—you are exactly who this book is for.

I plan on posting to this blog 2-3 times a week, sharing what God is revealing to me, updates on the book, and reflections on this journey of faith. I hope you’ll walk with me as we explore His faithfulness together.

What battles has God brought you through? What does His faithfulness mean to you? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Let’s walk this road together.

With grace and gratitude,
Jessica
